The Clarkesville-Habersham Public Library offers free computer and internet use. Printing/Faxing/Copying are available for nominal fees. Chromebooks are available for checkout.
We have two study rooms that are offered on a first come, first served basis. Please see the circulation desk for availability. Each study room has a desktop computer along with a dry erase board. The rooms my be used for two-hour increments based on demand.
Our community room is available for use by local civic groups. Library programs are given priority. The space is not available for birthday parties, etc. The usage fee is $25.00 for nonprofit groups and $50 for others. Please email clarkesvillelib@gmail.com for more information.
The William H. Raper Heritage Room contains a variety of materials for patrons who are researching their family histories. The resources are available through an assortment of media including newspaper clippings, pension record books, Cherokee Indian rolls, state and county history books. City of Clarkesville directories, journals, maps, and family histories. Additionally, library patrons have access to Ancestry and Heritage Quest Online via the public computers throughout the library.
